You receive ShiftAlert messages based on your communication preferences, which you set on the My Preferences page. Each method (telephone call using IVR, email, or text message) also tells you how to accept or decline the ShiftAlerts. If you want to change how you receive ShiftAlerts, go to the My Preferences page to update your communication preferences.

Important: ShiftAlerts are urgent staffing needs. Once you accept a ShiftAlert, you are obligated to work that shift. You cannot cancel an accepted ShiftAlert. If you cannot work your ShiftAlert, you should contact your manager immediately.
