Outcomes-Driven Acuity displays a patient's acuity level and assessment based on:

Acuity Summary The average acuity level for the report time interval is calculated using the level of each completed assessment. The sum of each completed assessment's acuity level is divided by the total number of completed assessments. Patient count by level includes complete assessments
Monthly Average Acuity The average acuity level for the report time interval is calculated using the level of completed assessments and the location's default acuity level. Each patient has a minimum of one acuity level (or data point) per day; the patient has more than one data point per day if their acuity level changes. The average acuity level is the sum the value of each data point divided by the total number of data points. N/A

Monthly Average Acuity
The sum of each patient's acuity level (whether from a completed assessment or the default acuity level) at the report run time divided by the number of patients in the location.

The average acuity for all future reporting periods is calculated using the retrospective 6-week average acuity at the shift category partition's start time by day of week. Staff Manager takes the sum of the average acuity level at the start of each shift category partition for the past 6 weeks and divides that number by six.
