Configuring the License Key
Each Staff Manager installation has a license key that provides Staff Manager with the following information.
- The optional features and applications your organization purchased
- The total number of manager licenses your organization purchased and how many licenses are in use
- The total number of employee licenses your organization purchased and how many licenses are in use
- The maximum number of ShiftAlert employees the license allows and how many employees currently use ShiftAlert
- What format the license key uses
When organizations purchase new features, or add more employee or manager licenses, Cerner Corporation gives them new license keys. You enter the new key information with the Product License page.
Complete the following steps to configure the license key:
- From the Configure menu, select App Settings > License Key.
- Enter the Product License Key in the box.
- Click Save Changes.
