Schedulers publish a schedule using by setting a schedule's publish range on the Schedule Publishing window in Staff Manager Client. Clairvia Web does not display schedule data that falls outside of the published range.
Administrators open the schedule views by selecting from the Schedule menu Administer Schedule sub-menu.
Whether you are viewing the schedule by week, month, or day, the Schedule toolbar always contains the following options:
Option 1: From the Schedule menu, select Administer Schedule > Daily Schedule. This opens the Daily Schedule page.
Option 2: Click a task cell while viewing schedule data by week. This opens the Daily Schedule page for the date clicked.
If an employee has been assigned to float to another profile, the Profile column displays the name of the float profile. A profile name in green means the employee is floating out to the profile, while red means the employee is floating in to the profile.
To move quickly to any day, click the date to open the date menu.
Option 1: From the Schedule menu, select Administer Schedule > Weekly Schedule. This opens the Weekly Schedule page.
Option 2: Click a date link while viewing schedule data by month. This opens the Weekly Schedule page set to the date clicked.
You can select from four schedule display formats using the green page menu bar.
When the Weekly schedule is in Employee view, changes to task start and end times are shown in brackets (<>) after the task: 7am-3p.m. RN <0700-1330>.
When multiple tasks are scheduled in a single day, they are displayed in the Employee views in the following order:
If a profile is configured to show opportunities, you can show or hide the opportunities by selecting the Show Opportunities check box at the top of the page. This option is unavailable in daily view.
If a profile is configured to allow shift swaps with manager approval, you can show or hide pending swaps by selecting the Show Shift Swaps check box at the top of the page. This option is unavailable in daily view.
The Show Opportunities and Show Shift Swap options are mutually exclusive: selecting one automatically deselects the other.
Note: Your Cerner Clairvia Clinical Consultant may have enabled a configuration setting that controls how employee names are displayed in the Web. If so, you will see employee abbreviations instead of names in areas of Clairvia Web such as messages, shift swap invitations, schedule pages, reports, and so on. If you need to have this setting changed, contact your Cerner Clairvia Client Advocate or Clinical Consultant.
Assignment notes are entered in the Staff Manager Client Schedule Editor by right-clicking a cell and selecting Add/Edit Assignment Note from the menu. In both Employee views, tasks with assignment notes are highlighted with a yellow background. The List view displays assignment notes in the last column. Several Web reports also display assignment notes.
How assignments notes are displayed in Employee views depends on the options you select on the Manager View Configuration page. Managers have the option to view notes:
From the Schedule menu, select Administer Schedule > Monthly Schedule. This opens the Monthly Schedule page.
You can select from two schedule display formats using the green page menu bar.
To change the month shown, click the month link to open the date menu.
Changes to task start and end times are shown in brackets (<>) after the employee's abbreviation and task: JDOE: 7am-3p.m. RN <0700-1330>.
To see a weekly view for any date in the monthly view quickly, click the underlined date link.
If expected schedule data is not displayed, make sure an active filter is not affecting the schedule view.
