Managers use posting groups to set when qualified employees by profile see opportunities. For example, a manager might create two posting groups:
You may see an opportunity more than once if your profile is in more than one posting group and the viewing times for the posting groups do not overlap.
Clairvia Web displays all opportunities each time you are included in a posting group, but you will not see an opportunity if:
When a manager creates a ShiftAlert, Staff Manager sends it out immediately to all employees who
Note: Staff Manager only sends ShiftAlerts to employees who are both qualified and available for scheduling at the time the ShiftAlert is created. Employees who were originally unavailable and then become available due to a schedule change after the ShiftAlert has been sent are not sent a ShiftAlert.
You can see all the opportunities and ShiftAlerts you qualify for with these two methods.
You must select Show Opportunities on the Weekly Schedule page or no opportunities are visible. In the Opportunities pane, opportunities and ShiftAlerts are listed similarly, except that ShiftAlert have red exclamation marks (!) beside them. In the schedule cells, opportunities are shown as links, and ShiftAlerts have a red exclamation point in front of the opportunity link.
If you are scheduled to work an opportunity, you will see (O) before the task on your Dashboard calendar. If you are scheduled to work a ShiftAlert, you will see ! (O) before the task. If you have applied for a Consider Me opportunity but a manager has not yet approved it, you will see Pending Oppty before the task.
For filled opportunities, Clairvia Web places the code (O) in front of the user's name, such as (O) RHiggins.
For filled ShiftAlerts, Clairvia Web adds a red exclamation point (!) before the (O) in front of the user's name, such as ! (O) RHiggins.
